Many pathbreaking concepts and theories have been generated in the Global South since the start of the twenty-first century. In this inaugural July Global Southern Forum, we will revisit and clarify some of them with the aim of hashing out how they can and should inform our current and future research, institutional, and activist endeavors. In this spirit, when selecting participants, we prioritize the creation of a community of interlocutors based in a range of academic fields, institutional and geographic locations, and stages of their intellectual careers.
