Dr. Prah will be discussing his book, The Challenge of Decolonizing Education, in which terms like decolonizing knowledge and education, nativization, domestication, de-westernization, and indigenization all imply "bringing home," rehabilitating, and making knowledge part of your own belongings—belongings you feel comfortable with and understand and that have direct cultural bearings.
