Talk Information:
Ampersand: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Language Sciences and Bilingualism is an international, multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal which offers a highly visible, open access home for original research on applied linguistics, with bi/multilingual issues at its core. Ampersand seeks to engage language scholarship, traditions and collaborations between the Global North and Global South to foster equality and mutual benefits within and between their scholarly traditions. As such, we are launching new initiatives to encourage authors from underrepresented areas, including the introduction of a Global South Mentoring Scheme, with support from Professor Shaila Sultana (University of Dhaka, Bangladesh).
