TIRF – The International Research Foundation for English Language Education – is pleased to share information about two different award programs currently available to individuals worldwide: (1) TIRF Doctoral Dissertation Grants (DDG) competition and (2) TIRF Kathleen M. Bailey Teacher-Research Award (i.e., TIRF Bailey Award).

TIRF DDG Program

• Grants up to US $5,000
• Applications invited from current doctoral candidates advanced to candidacy in language education-related fields
• Application deadline is Wednesday, May 15, 2024

TIRF Bailey Award

• US $1,000 per award
• Applications invited from practicing teachers worldwide of English as a second/foreign/additional language, including from dual-language immersion teachers in two-way programs with English learners
